Is a mock assessment a certification?
No. It produces assessment findings. Nothing posts to SPRS, and no certification status is issued.
Does the Phase 2 suspension make a mock assessment unnecessary?
No. DFARS 252.204-7012, NIST SP 800-171 Revision 2, and annual SPRS affirmations are unchanged. The CMMC clause remains on your contract until a modification removes it.
How long does a mock assessment take?
